Chambers and Partners again ranks Lexia’s TMT and Dispute Resolution practices among the best
March 21, 2019
Research institute Chambers and Partners annually ranks the expertise of legal firms and has now published its research results. In its recently published Europe 2019 publication, Chambers and Partners recommends our Technology, Media and Telecommunications (TMT) practice in Band 3, and our Dispute Resolution practice in the Recognized practitioner category.
Like last year, Chambers has ranked Sami Rintala, Partner and Head of the TMT practice, as a recommended attorney in the Up and Coming category. Clients praise his in-depth expertise in technology transactions and his uncompromised focus on protecting the client’s interests.
Chambers describes the TMT team’s expertise as follows: “A strong TMT department acting on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious mandates. Expertise includes advising domestic and international clients on outsourcing, data protection, contract negotiations and procurement. The firm’s client roster includes companies in the media, IT and transportation industries, and it is a popular choice among start-ups. A new customer, Zora Biosciences, strengthens the team’s foothold in the healthcare sector.”
A client interviewed in the research has noted that we are able to support both business and legal aspects in an ambitious, targeted and resolution-centric manner, and that excellent results have been accomplished with us. One of the highlighted successes of the TMT practice is the support of Varjo in manufacturing service agreement negotiations. Read more about the Varjo client story >>
Chambers annually publishes rankings of law firms and their areas of expertise from different countries. Its researchers interview thousands of lawyers and their clients in order to assess the expertise of the law firms and the client satisfaction.
