Axopar Boats, soaring to the top of Europe in two years.
Axopar’s boat model was granted the European Powerboat of the Year award in its size class just two years after its launch. The company has since managed to clean the table in three different categories of sports and RIB boats. This was the first time a single range has been simultaneously awarded in the categories Best of Boats, Motorboat of the Year and European Powerboat of the Year.
The company’s exports have expanded to 30 countries with more than 50 distributors. Growth has paid off, as Axopar’s turnover is nearly EUR 20 million and the company has made it out of debt.
All aboard
Lexia and Axopar work in exceptionally close collaboration. We have played a significant role in supporting Axopar’s global journey and success in Finland ever since the company was founded. Our lawyer is a part of Axopar’s Board of Directors, providing a legal perspective for their decision making and offering, among others, compliance services. From the beginning, our shared objective has been to include a legal perspective in the company’s business strategy efforts, to increase insight into the funding of a growth business in an effort to ensure the protection of the IP rights of the international company and its successful boat models, and to provide general corporate advisory services.
We are engaged in continuous, in-depth co-operation that improves the client’s business. It could be said that in this case, the lawyers are very much aboard the client’s operations.
