I work at Lexia with assignments related to dispute resolution, construction, land use and the public sector. My areas of expertise also include criminal law, and I manage a selection of white-collar crime cases.
My typical clients are businesses, municipalities and other private or public legal entities from all over Finland. My typical assignments include presenting and responding to claims, conducting and assisting in contract and settlement negotiations, and, ultimately, legal dispute resolution in court or arbitration. I also assist our clients with administrative proceedings and lodge appeals before administrative and special courts.
I graduated with a Master of Laws degree in 2004 and have worked full-time in the field of law, in a law firm since 2016. Before joining Lexia, I was a partner in another law firm specializing in business law. During my career, I have also gained experience as a lawyer for a collection agency, a fixed-term judge in the District Court and the Court of Appeal, and a city executive office.
Based on my previous work experience, I also have an understanding of judicial decision-making from the viewpoints of the court and the authority. My diverse experience also allow me to provide realistic assessments and practical advice to our clients.
I am a member of the Finnish Bar Association’s Expert Team on Administrative Law.
In my free time, I spend time with my family’s sport hobbies, travelling, forestry and hunting.
