Practices

Employment and Labour Law, Corporate Advisory, Insolvency & Restructuring, Private Wealth

I advise clients on all employment law-related matters, including assignments related to corporate transactions and employment disputes. My areas of expertise include, among others, the interpretation of employment contracts, resolution of employment disputes, co-operation negotiations, collective bargaining negotiations, and personnel reorganizations.

I also assist our clients with corporate law issues, advise company boards, and serve as the secretary to the boards. Additionally, I advise companies on impending insolvency and over-indebtedness situations and related procedures, such as corporate restructuring, voluntary debt arrangements, and liquidation. I have experience advising debtors, creditors, and other stakeholders in both domestic and international insolvency proceedings.

Furthermore, I have experience providing advice on family wealth law and asset protection matters, particularly in assignments related to international marriages, as well as estate and inheritance planning. With my background and experience, I am able to offer our clients comprehensive services that take into account their diverse needs.

Open communication and listening are essential in understanding customer needs and goals. A deep understanding of business and industry helps me as an expert to offer the best possible solutions that support the client’s success. My flexible and adaptive service attitude has helped me navigate many challenging situations over the years.

The customer is always at the center of my operations. I strive to build long-term and trustworthy customer relationships that emphasize personal service and commitment to the customer’s goals. The best part of my job is seeing a satisfied customer.

Additionally, I invest in continuous learning and self-development to provide up-to-date and innovative advice to our clients. This approach ensures that our clients always receive the best possible service and guidance that meets their individual needs. I also annually train the next generation of lawyers in insolvency law in Swedish at the University of Helsinki. It is inspiring to teach future lawyers and share my knowledge of insolvency law, as their enthusiasm and dedication bring new energy and perspectives to my own work.

I am also a member of the Finnish Bar Association’s Expert Team on Insolvency Law. The legal policy statements of the Finnish Bar Association are prepared in its legal expert teams. Members of these teams are often invited to the Finnish Parliament to provide their input on legislative projects. The teams include 125 lawyers who represent the top of their fields.
